Set
in over 150 acres of farmland between Villeneuve Sur Lot and
Cahors, on the edge of Aquitaine & Dordogne & Lot
regions, Bordeneuve is a luxurious retreat surrounded by gardens
and trees where children can run about safely and there is
always plenty to do!
Family holidays
are available from April till October and our Special Occasion
Weekend Breaks are available all year through.

Come through the
gates and up the tree lined driveway, past the tennis court
and through our private woodland to find the house and barn,
which blend harmoniously into the landscape.
Both L’Hirondelle
and L’alouette were built in 1838 and as you would expect
have amazing oak beams and many period features. The solid
stone walls are blissfully cool in Summer and in the Winter
you can sit around the huge open log fire and wood burner.Spacious
and tastefully restored to a very high standard, Bordeneuve
offers all the modern facilities to ensure the perfect holiday.
Both
of the properties have private terraces with garden furniture,
BBQ's and lovely views as far as the eye can see.
There’s plenty of room to run about here at Bordeneuve
and we have a wealth of fruit trees which surround our little
forest including, apricots, walnut ,figs, peaches, olives,
pears, cherries, apples and lots and lots of plums.
Pick the fruit as you wish or just relax nearby on one of
our many hammocks or patios.
We have
a huge solar heated swimming pool, full size
tennis court, full sized table tennis table, pool/billiards
table in the Summerhouse, sauna and trampoline.
L’Hirondelle
and L’Alouette both have their own private 6 seater
hot tub which can be enjoyed during the day or at night under
the stars with a drop or two of bubbly!!
For the
less sporty we have free channel English satellite TV and
DVD.
Our tiny
village of St Aubin is only about 1km away from us and consists
of a church, petrol station, fabulous restaurant and bar ”Le
Bon Chabrol” open for both lunch and dinner and our
local Epicerie/Boulangerie where you can buy local produce,
wines and delicious croissants and baguettes each morning.
There
is plenty to do here for all the family but if you feel like
going a little further afield we have a fabulous Golf Club
only 15 minutes drive from us.
Horse
riding stables which are suitable for beginners and the more
experienced alike, 10 minutes from us.
The River
Lot is only 5 minutes from us and has an endless supply of
water sports, boats and fishing.
We are surrounded by amazing Vineyards here too, Cahors, Bergerac
and Buzet vineyards just to name a few are right on our doorstep.
There
are hundreds of interesting places to visit, lots of amazing
Chateau’s, medieval bastide towns, museums, bustling
markets in just about every village, village fetes and festivals
in the Summer, mouthwatering restaurants on just about every
corner, and even theme parks and water parks.
This
little corner of SW France simply has everything you could
wish for!
Our solar heated swimming pool is 11 x 5.5metres with poolside
dining areas and lots of sun loungers and deckchairs on the
decked terrace.
Adjacent
to the pool is a partly covered sun terrace with a long ancient
wooden table and BBQ for alfresco dining. The ideal place
to watch the sun set with a little pastis!!

holiday home or on the terrace.
