Set in over 150 acres of farmland between
Villeneuve Sur Lot and Cahors, on the edge of Aquitaine &
Dordogne & Lot regions, Bordeneuve is a luxurious retreat
surrounded by gardens and trees where children can run about
safely and where a passing car is an event.
Come through the gates and up the tree lined driveway through
our private woodland to find the house, Gites and barn, which
blend harmoniously into the landscape.
Spacious and tastefully restored to a very high standard,
Bordeneuve offers all the modern facilities to ensure the
perfect holiday. .
We have a huge solar heated swimming pool, 2
Hot Tubs / Spas, full size tennis court, full sized table
tennis table, pool table, sauna and free bike hire. For the
less sporty - satellite TV, DVD and video.
The Gites have been lovingly restored using
natural and local materials to give a sense of space and light,
with solid stone walls which keep them cool in summer.
All of the properties have private terraces
with garden furniture, BBQ's and lovely views.
In the woods you will find ancient oak trees
and the garden is full of fruit , apricots, plums, walnut
,figs, peaches, olives, pears, cherries and apples. Pick the
fruit as you wish or just relax nearby on one of our many
hammocks or patios.
The swimming pool is 11x 5.5 metres with poolside dining areas
and sun loungers.
Adjacent
to the pool is a partly covered sun terrace with a long wooden
table and BBQ for al fresco dining, which seats up to 12 people.
Just beyond the pool area is a hot tub to keep you occupied
while dinner is being prepared. The ideal place to watch the
sun set with a little pastis!
If
you're not in the mood to cook, then why not let us take care
of you? We can offer delicious French cuisine on arrival if
sufficient notice given ~ plus throughout your stay!
